Cherry Creek Regional Trail
This section of Cherry Creek Regional Trail consists of over a mile of
new 10' wide trail for hikers, runners, cyclists, naturalists and other
outdoors enthusiasts to enjoy. This trail, while essentially part of
the 107 acre Parker Jordan Centennial Open Space project, was able to get
permitted through the many agencies early so that it could be delivered
for public enjoyment sooner. The new trail begins at the southern
end just north of the 17-Mile House Bridge, and continues north through
the Broncos Parkway Trailhead and up to the
Cherry Creek Valley Ecological Park Bridge.
The Parker Jordan Metropolitan District will own and maintain the trail. |
